The firm had a net profit of Rs 49.26 crore in the same quarter in the year ago period, Lakshmi Machine said in a filing to the BSE.
The total income declined to Rs 484.29 crore in the latest quarter, from Rs 500.62 crore last fiscal.
Shares of the company closed at Rs 1,052.75, up 3.37 per cent on the BSE.
