Tata Group firm Land Rover today said it will launch two advanced diesel versions of its sports utility vehicle (SUV), Range Rover, in UK by September this year.

The new range of SUVs -- 2011 Range Rover -- will come with V8 diesel engines powered by 4.4 litre and 5.0 litre engines. They will be Euro V emission norms compliant.

"The 2011 Range Rover retains its position as one of the world's most complete luxury vehicles. Its combination of reduced CO2 emissions and superior engine performance continues to make it a clear industry benchmark," Land Rover Managing Director Phil Popham said in a statement.

While the 4.4-litre LR-TDV8 Range Rover will boast of eight-speed automatic transmission, the 5.0-litre LR-V8 version will run on six-speed automatic transmission.

Besides this, the company will also launch a limited edition of the iconic SUV model with special design elements.

"At the top of the range, the new Autobiography Black 40th anniversary limited edition offers customers the option of complete exclusivity with unique colourway combinations as well as striking interior and exterior design features," Land Rover Design Director Gerry McGovern said.
