Larsen & Toubro today reported a net profit of Rs 348 crore for the second quarter ended September 2007, an increase of 73% from Rs 201.20 crore in the corresponding period last year. The company's total income for the quarter ended September 2007 stood at Rs 5,523.20 crore as against Rs 3,847.80 crore in the same period last year.
