"We have gained leadership in the consumer durables in Andhra Pradesh with a major market share in a wide range of segments including colour television, refrigerators, audio & DVD systems, washing machines and microwave ovens except the vacuum cleaner segment. We have also been consistently performing well over the past four years," he added.

Speaking about the expansion plans, Rao said, "The company is planning to open a factory in the south. The existing plants at Noida and Pune cater to the North-West and South-West regions. We plan to step up our presence in the GSM market of which our current share is 6 to 7 per cent."
