LG Electronics (LG) on Tuesday announced the launch of Health+ (“Health Plus”) campaign. With a campaign of “Caring for your Health in Every Way,” LG plans to emerge as the first consumer electronics company to design and market appliances aimed at helping consumers maintain healthier homes.
LG has a target investment of Rs 100 crore in advertising and marketing of home appliances.
On Tuesday, LG Home Appliance Company president and CEO, Young Ha Lee, said: “The Healthcare products aim to contribute 15-20 per cent to the total revenue of the company’s earnings in Asia where we are carrying out the campaign.” LG Electronics India Pvt Ltd MD Moon B Shin said the company's healthcare products aim to contribute 15 per cent to the total revenue of the company’s earnings in India in 2009.
