Consumer electronics major LG Electronics India Limited on Monday opened the first LG Shoppe in Orissa here to offer the entire bouquet of its products in a single outlet.
The LG Brand Shoppe was conceived with the objective of creating a platform to communicate LG's identity and to make available all the company's products under one roof.
It will also enable the company to have a new channel of communication channel with its trade partners in the state.
The LG Brand Shoppe goes beyond the concept of a normal exclusive store by having a more interactive environment and a greater lifestyle orientation display for the customers. “It has been our endeavour to create a store that would not only stand out, but also showcase the values of the LG brand.
The LG Brand Shoppe has been conceptualized as the ultimate retailing experience that synchronizes with the company's international image of innovation, quality and excellence”, said Arvind Kumar, branch manager (Orissa) of LG Electronics India Limited. LG plans to roll out similar shoppes in all the major towns of the state including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur, Baripada and Rourkela, he added. Besides offering all the products of LG in a single showroom, the LG Shoppe would provide several value added services like dedicated service help desks for the customers.
Claiming that LG is the market leader in the consumer electronics space in Orissa, Kumar said, the company has targeted a turnover of around Rs 300 crore in 2009 as against Rs 232 crore clocked in 2008. LG has posted a growth of 42 per cent this year so far in the Orissa market.
