Mobile services provider Loop Mobile (formerly BPL Mobile), one of the oldest telecom players in the country, is eyeing up to 15 per cent market revenue share in next nine months, a top company executive has said.
"Currently we enjoy 9.7 per cent revenue market share and plan to raise it to 11-15 per cent in the next nine months," Loop Mobile COO Surya Mahadevan told PTI here.
The single circle operator, which serves over three million subscribers, is gearing up the Loop mobile brand and will invest more on brand, products and customer service, he said. Loop Mobile was rebranded in March 2009.
The 15-year-old telecom company's monthly gross revenue is Rs 47 crore, which he said will reach Rs 50 crore in December.
"And by March 2011, we are planning to further raise our monthly revenue to Rs 52 crore," he added.
The company has invested Rs 300 crore to upgrade its network to make it one of the strongest in the city.

According to a recent survey -- Mumbai Mobile Network Survey 2010 -- conducted by Pyro BKP Telecom Consultants Loop, Mobile was ranked number one in GSM network.
"We re-dedicate ourselves to raising the bar and providing the best to our customers with uninterrupted connectivity, customer intimacy through differentiated service and technologically innovative value enhancing products," Loop Mobile India Wholetime Director and CEO Sandip Basu said in a statement.
Going ahead, he said, the company would strive towards providing unmatched voice and data quality to its subscribers in Mumbai.
