Moto G will be in more than 30 countries with 60 partners by 2014. The company said the device delivers a premium experience for “a third of the price of a current high-end phone”. The phone’s pricing in India, is, however, unclear at this point in time.

Moto G has a 4.5-inch HD display, quad-core processor and Android 4.3 with guaranteed upgrade. It sports a 5 megapixel (MP) rear camera and 1.3 MP front-facing camera.

“In an effort to bring compatible and preferable solutions to all consumers, this further showcases the power and variety of Qualcomm's Snapdragon processors as well as the company's expansion into emerging markets,” according to an update in the official blog of Qualcomm, which has provided the chip for the smartphone.

Equipped with Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 processor, the Moto G can play full HD videos and will support the latest version of Android (KitKat, which is coming soon to Moto G as an update), it added.

Qualcomm's blog post further said: “Moto G owners also get an extra 50 GB of Google Drive storage for free for two years, so you can keep and share photos, movies and more, on top of the standard 15 GB.” Besides, with Motorola Migrate app, all the photos, videos, contacts and call and text history can be sent wirelessly from the old phone to the new one, it added.
