Utility vehicle and passenger car manufacturer Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) has invested about Rs 28 crore in developing its new multi-terrain defence vehicle Axe. The company is hoping to sell the vehicle to the Indian and Israeli armies. While the Indian army would test the vehicle soon, the Israeli army is already in the process of testing the vehicle. Commercial production would start once the company starts getting orders from the armies, according to agency resports.The engine for Axe has been sourced from an Israeli firm.
