Mahindra and Mahindra (M&M) today launched a three-wheeler passenger automotive, Alfa, priced at Rs 1.35 lakh (ex-showroom).Vivek Nayer,vice-president, marketing, M&M, said: "The new model with a price tag of Rs1.35 lakh is the first vehicle in its segment whose design was based on extensive customer feedback and incorporates a host of special features."The diesel driven vehicle would give an average of 30 km per litre on standard conditions, he said.The market for diesel-driven passenger vehicles recorded a growth of 18% last year, while the petrol segment declined by 2%, he added.
