Madura Garment opens its sixth store in Chennai

Addressing mediapersons on the launch of their sixth high-end exclusive store in Chennai, Vineesh Chadha, brand head-Louis Philippe, Madura Garments, said: "We have 20 stores of which five are high-end exclusive stores in Bangalore, Delhi, Noida and Hyderabad."
 
The investment of the high-end exclusive showrooms is about Rs 1.5 crore. In the next five months, Louis Philippe will be setting up showrooms in Ahmedabad, Pune and south Delhi. These exclusive showrooms will be franchisees as well as company owned, with an average built-up space of 3,500 sq ft.
 
The new store in Chennai will have Louis Philippe suitings ranging from Rs 8,000 to Rs 50,000. The Louis Philippe brand had a turnover of Rs 175 crore and plans to double it to Rs 350 crore by 2007-08. Exports contribute 10 per cent of the turnover, and are generally directed to the Middle East.
