Magma Fincorp today said its net profit jumped over three-fold to Rs 26.45 crore in the last quarter of 2009-10.
It had reported a net profit of Rs 7.43 crore in the corresponding period previous fiscal.
Total operating income during the quarter increased 20.2 per cent at Rs 216.48 crore over the same period previous fiscal.
The vice-chairman and managing director of Magma, Sanjay Chamria, said that the net interest margin (NIM) of the company was the highest at 5.5 per cent at the end of 2009-10.
Net profit of the company during the fiscal 2009-10 grew 79 per cent at Rs 71.32 per cent over 2008-09.
Collection efficiency of the company also touched a high of 103.4 per cent during the last quarter of 2009-10, he told reporters here today.
Chamria said that share of high-yield products like tractors and used commercial vehicle loans increased.
