Mahindra Navistar Automotives Limited (MNAL), a joint venture between Mahindra & Mahindra and US-based International Truck and Engine Corporation, is formalising plans to expand its footprint in the medium and heavy commercial vehicles (MHCVs) segment.
“We are beefing up our operations to roll out a wide range of products in the MHCV segment. Towards this, we are expanding our dealer network for MHCVs. We will be commissioning 100 MHCV-focused dealerships across the country in the next two years,” MNAL managing director Rakesh Kalra, told mediapersons here on Wednesday.
As part of a long-term strategy spread over the next five years, Kalra said the company had sold 11,000 vehicles last year and was targeting to sell about 60,000 units in the next five years. “Our revenues stood at Rs 600 crore during the last financial year,” he said.
