The company is also on the verge of launching CNG version of Logan within next 2-3 months, which could come at about Rs 5 lakh.
"There are opportunities for exports (of Logan) to right hand drive markets such as the neighboring countries and South Africa. By this year, we will start exporting the entire range of Logan," Mahindra Renault Chief Operating Officer Nalin Mehta told PTI.
He said the company would export the vehicle to countries, where M&M and Renault already have strong presence, and would utilise the existing dealership networks of the two manufacturers there. Asked under what badging would the sedan, which is sold in India as Mahindra Renault Logan, be exported he said, "It will depend on different markets."
It could be under the Renault badge in markets where the French firm has a strong presence or it could be Mahindra- Renault in the new markets, he added.
