IT firm Mahindra Satyam today announced a major rejig of its leadership team in the US to help expand its footprint in the US market.
Lakshmanan Chidambaram, recently hired from Syntel, will head the banking and financial services, manufacturing, healthcare and life sciences verticals and BPO business of the Mahindra Group company in America.
In addition, Arvind Malhotra will now head Mahindra Satyam's strategic accounts division, while Nishith Mathur will head the technology, media and entertainment, retail and consumer products and transportation/logistics verticals, a company release said.
The appointments are in line with the company's strategy to position key executives closer to clients and investors, thereby facilitating enhanced relationships and closer alignment of business strategy with regional imperatives, it added.
