Mahindra First Choice Services (MFCS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd, plans to tap tier-II towns like Bhopal by offering multi-brand car workshops. The company wants to open 200 multi-brand car workshops across such cities in India.

"There is a huge potential for multi-brand car servicing in towns like Bhopal. We will close this year with 200 such workshops from existing 85 under franchisee owned, franchisee-operated network," Alok Kapoor, Head, Marketing & Franchise Development, MFCS, told BS here

MFCS has now become country's leading chain of multi-brand car service workshops. "This is our first workshop in this region and we will open two more in Indore and Jabalpur," he said, "The number of our multi-brand car workshop should reach 30 in Madhya Pradesh by March, 2016."

MFCS was established in 2008. It offers world class car servicing experience in India based on 'value-for-money' model. "Our car servicing is 15-30% cheaper than any other branded car service stations and workshops. More important we do not have sales pressure like those branded car service stations. Our main focus in car servicing only."

The MFCS also plans to become one of the leading three car service providers in the country by 2018, he further said. "We are also planning to have own warehouse for spare parts of all car brands so that our multi-brand car workshops can handle minimum inventory. They will be able to provide best car service facility as they will be assured of spare parts."
