According to a report by Overdrive, the company started recalling the TUV300 after customers complained of late and choppy gearshifts, delayed activation of the creep function and drops in engine speed while shifting to a higher gear.
The Mahindra TUV300 AMT is available only in the T6+ and T8 variants priced at Rs 8.65 lakh and 9.25 lakh, respectively. Both variants are powered by a 1.5 litre diesel engine that churns out a peak power of 81bhp.
The Mumbai-based company launched the mini SUV, that competes against the Hyundai Creta and Renault Duster, in September last year at Rs 6.9 lakh. Following sustained demand M&M had to increase production by 50 per cent within the first two months of the launch.
