Mahindra World City, Jaipur, is scouting for entrepreneurs from Punjab and Haryana, especially the small and medium business outfits engaged in light engineering and allied sectors.
Speaking to Business Standard here, Mahindra World City-Jaipur head (business Development and marketing) Ashish Mathur said the 3,000 acre project offered uninterrupted power supply apart from other benefits.
The World City already has 30 units, which have invested Rs 1,100 crore so far. It aims to mobilise Rs 10,000 crore.
Currently, about 5,500 people are working here and the total direct employment of 100,000 is expected to be generated soon, he said.
While Deutsche Bank has already set up its northern hub there, State Bank of India and ICICI Bank have signed MoUs for 34 acre and one acre respectively.
