Manz Automation India, a joint venture between German solar technology firm Manz Automation and Delhi-based Technicom-Chemie, has bagged orders worth euro 50 million (about Rs 300 crore) to provide solar power equipment, a top official of the company said.
Orders for the equipment have been placed by Tata BP Solar, Moser Baer and Solar Semiconductors.
"We have received orders worth euro 50 million from three companies, Tata BP Solar, Moser Baer and Solar Semiconductors," Manz Automation India anaging Director Ajay Chauhan told PTI.
Manz Automation formed (75:25) joint venture with Technicom-Chemie for the promotion of solar power in India. The JV company will market the high technology solar energy equipment and provide technical support for generating power through renewable sources.
Manz Group, which is likely to set up manufacturing facilities in India, is expected to have a turnover of Rs 1,500 crore this fiscal.
Manz Automation are manufacturers of automation equipment, cell tester, wafer tester and back-end printing line for solar cells.
