Marico reported 20% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 17.66 crore for the third quarter ending December 2004 as compared to Rs 14.74 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.The company has also extended its quarterly distribution record, with a third term dividend of 14% on the post bonus equity base of Rs 58 crore, it said in a release today.The consolidated turnover during the October-December quarter increased by 12% to Rs 260.59 crore in comparision to Rs 232.57 crore for the corresponding quarter in the previous year."We look forward to an important near term milestone for the group - the Rs 1,000 crore turnover mark. This will also include a milestone for the international business of the company, slated to cross Rs 100 crore, comprising entirely of branded products and services," the company statement said.
