FMCG major Marico Ltd today said its net profit increased by 22.2 per cent to Rs 62.19 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2009.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 50.89 crore for the quarter ended on December 2008, it said in a statement.
During the third quarter of the current fiscal, the company's net sales grew by over seven percent to Rs 669.56 crore as compared to Rs 621.01 crore in the corresponding period last year.
