The company's exports grew 64.5 per cent during the month compared with the year-ago period.
In April Maruti Suzuki sold 59,539 units in the domestic market compared with 48,652 units in April 2007.
The highest growth at 97.1 per cent was in the A3 segment, which includes the SX4 and DZire, followed by the A2 segment which grew at 27.3 per cent.
The A2 segment, which includes the Alto, Wagon-R and Swift, accounts for the company's highest sales.
