Car major could lose 60% of its reserves if it loses case
Maruti Udyog Ltd (MUL) could see its reserves erode by 60 per cent if it had to settle all claims from various government departments and private parties.
MUL, as per a draft red herring prospectus filed with the Securities and Exchange Board of India, has stated that it faced claims of Rs 1,798.5 crore till date.
