Maruti's dealership in Panchkula

Maruti Udyog Ltd opened its first dealership in Panchkula today, which is its fourth in the Chandigarh region.

Arvind Saxena, chief general manager (sales), inaugurated Berkeley Automobiles Ltd at Panchkula. Besides Panchkula, Berkeley Automobiles will cater for customers in Chandigarh, Ropar, Kalka, Parwanoo, Nalagarh, Baddi, and other areas in the vicinity.

Berkeley Automobiles has received good response from the public, as around 100 cars have been booked even before the launch. After the inauguration, Saxena handed over the keys to 11 customers.

The dealership has an area of 22,500 square feet. Equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, the workshop has a capacity to service up to 70 cars a day. It has an authorised Maruti accessories shop.

"We are the first car dealership in Panchkula and very soon we would be the premier dealership in the Chandigarh region," said Dahujathe, owner of Berkeley Automobiles Ltd.

Saxena said Maruti was selling more than 650 cars a month in Chandigarh.
