Maruti Udyog Limited will launch its Maruti Driving School (MDS) jointly with Kataria Motors by next month in Ahmedabad. |
The MDS will be quipped with simulator and provide five new maruti models for learners. |

India's largest car manufacturer had announced to launch more than 50 driving schools in 15 cities across the country. |

It already has three MDS in Chandigarh, Bangalore and Kollam (Kerala). |

Managing director of Kataria Automobiles, Niranjan Khambete said, "We will be starting MDS by next month. The school will have five instructors including a lady instructor." |

Each driving instructor will be intensively trained for a fortnight at Institute of Driving Training & Research (IDTR), Delhi, which is managed by Maruti. |
|
The one-month training course would include basic theory about cars, simulators to enable learners to familiarize with car before they take the actual vehicle on the road. |
|
These will also simulate various road and weather conditions like fog, dim light, uphill and downhill terrain, to provide comprehensive training to learners. |

It will be followed by a practical training for 15-20 days for an hour each, basic emergency repairs and finally a rules and regulations test. The charge of the course will be Rs. 3500. |

The driving school will provide five new maruti cars "� Maruti 800, Alto, Zen, Wagon R and Esteem. |

The school will be set up near the Helmet crossroads in Drive-in road, he added. |

The school is open for everyone. |

"The school is not limited to Maruti customers only. Anyone intending to buy a car can join the Maruti driving school," he added. |
