Marvelstone launches fintech platform in Singapore, raises $12 million seed funding

Singapore-based Marvelstone Tech, a part of Asian private investment group Marvelstone, has raised an impressive $12.5 million in seed funding, the company announced today. The funding comes from angel investors.
Marvelstone Tech is a financial technology (fintech) platform that will provide financial products and solutions to businesses. The platform will launch in March 2016 targeting South Korea-based SMEs.
The company will be based in Singapore, where Marvelstone recently moved its 10K accelerator headquarters. 10K is a project aiming to accelerate 10,000 startups in the next seven years.

Marvelstone Tech plans to list in the Singapore Exchange (SGX) in the next two to three years, according to Marvelstone chairman Joe Seunghyun Cho.
