Delhi-based MCC Group, a new entrant in the burgeoning domestic mobile handset market, today said it is eyeing sales of $100 million from GSM mobile phones within next two years.
"We are aiming to clock sales of $100 million within next two years from mobile handset business," Company's MD Ajay Mehta told reporters here today.
Besides, the company targets to sell 2 million units in 2011-12 financial year. "We have kept prices of our handsets between Rs 1,300 and Rs 3,000 targetting the mass market," he said.
MCC Group, which is also engaged into imaging and electronics, would be sourcing the handsets from China, Taiwan and Korea. "We have tied up with best mobile makers which also supply to other big brands for our mobile handset venture," he said.
He added that MCC Group would be spending $5 million over brand promotion in next 15 months.
