According to a senior company official, it also planned to open restaurants in major cities of Kerala. "Our next targets are Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode," she said.
The first restaurant at Lulu hyper market will have a total area of 3,000 sft and can seat around 70 people. The company would extend home delivery service soon from the Edappally outlet.
Meanwhile, work on the MG Road outlet was progressing well and it would be launched by March end or April first week, she added.
Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited, the master franchisee for south and west India operations, will be responsible for Kerala operations. "We have a large number of enquiries from NRKs about the opening of our restaurants in Kerala," she added.
The Kochi outlets will have special dishes with fish and will supply its entire range of items including vegetarian.
The company would recruit local youngsters.
"We will equip them with rigorous training programmes on every aspect of the restaurant's working," she said.
