MeritTrac Services, a skills assessment company, opened its first assessment zone "� MeritTrac Assessment Zone "� in Hyderabad on Monday. The 3,000-sq ft Hyderabad centre that has online testing facilities, six interview cabins and conference rooms, can handle up to 750 candidates a day. |
"The Hyderabad centre currently employs 45 people and we would scale it up to 100 shortly," Madan Padki, director, Merittrac Services, told mediapersons after the inauguration of the assessment zone. |

"We would be opening four more zones in Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai and Chennai in the next three months involving an investment of Rs 5 crore," he added. |

MeritTrac has more than 225 full-time employees and over 1,000 part-time certified test administrators on its rolls operating through offices in eight cities and testing around 40,000 candidates per month. The company's clientele include Accenture, Adobe, GE Consumer & Industrial, HP, Google, IBM, Satyam and Microsoft. |

MeritTrac also partners with state governments under its SkillsTrac Programme, and academic institutions for assessing students on industry-readiness. |

The zone was inaugurated by state IT secretary Ratna Prabha. |
