Media specialist MindShare plans to firm up its functions in India. It has appointed M Suku as director of BroadMind, its specialised unit for non traditional media dealing in television programme syndications/barters, events, sports, in-film/television advertising etc.
MindShare has already appointed the heads of three operating units of WPP Media. While Ashutosh Srivastava is the managing director, India, MindShare, Bashab Sarkar is the managing director, India for Maximise. Vikram Sakhuja is the managing director for Fulcrum.
Suku, who is currently the vice-president (business development) at Reliance Entertainment, will be responsible for setting up BroadMind and will take charge from February 3. He would be reporting to MindShare South Asia chief, Andre Nair. While both Suku and Nair confirmed the move, they refused to elaborate on any further gameplan.
BroadMind, worldwide, offers specialist services in event/personality, sponsorships and sports marketing, advertiser-funded programme supply/barter, various events and consultancy services.
