Mid-sized IT and R&D services firm MindTree has bagged two multi-year IT infrastructure management services (IMS) deals worth over $70 million. The customers include an information and communication technology (ICT) services provider in Europe and a leading bank in the US.

The deal signed with the European customer is the single largest multi-year win for MindTree in the company’s history.

As per the contract which will be executed over the next five years, MindTree will use its managed services platform, MWatch, to provide IMS as managed services from India. The company will also provide application and infrastructure support services, telecom support services and remote desktop management services.

“These deals position us well to be considered for larger scale IMS engagements in the future. MindTree was chosen over significantly larger competition in both cases for our agility, investment in solution accelerators ahead of time, and our service maturity,” said Ram C Mohan, senior VP and Head of Infrastructure Management and Technical Support (IMTS) at MindTree.

MindTree’s IMTS business which employs about 1,000 people, is one of the fastest growing service lines at MindTree. The company’s IMTS portfolio includes consulting & implementation services, managed services, security services and technical support services for better risk management.
