Bids will close on September 14 and the decision on the tender will be taken by September 21, the company said.
MMTC said it would sell 3,800 tonnes of tur, 2,750 tonnes of red lentils, 2,565 tonnes of green moong and 250 tonnes of black mapte (chana) in the domestic market.
The offered pulses, which are of 2009 and 2010 crop years, are imported from Myanmar, Canada, Australia, Tanzania and Malawi. These pulses are lying in godowns at Mumbai, Chennai and Kolkata, it said.
Bidders should quote for minimum quantity of 250 tonnes, it added.
