SPUR Sealant is a hybrid that exhibits properties in terms of Non-stain, non-bleed, paintable, primerless adhesion, and durable, Momentive Performance Materials Managing Director VP Nalian told reporters here.
The agreement allows Momentive and Anabond to jointly develop SPUR Sealants and market them across the country.
"Momentive would market this product in the construction segment and Anabond will market it in the automotive, electrical and electronics segment", he said.
Anabond's expertise in the adhesive and sealants area in the automotive industry, combined with their manufacturing capabilities will help develop 'SPUR Sealant' applications,he said.

Anabond Executive Director (R&D) Adhi Narayanan said the products will be manufactured at their plants in Chennai and Puducherry.
"The plant situated in Illalur near Chennai holds a capacity of 120 tonnes per month and we are hoping to reach the market by October.
Initially, we will be targeting the OEMs to market the product," he added.
"The partnership deed is expected be valid for five years" V P Nalian later said.
During this period, Momentive will provide all necessary technical inputs and support for any experiments by extending their application development facility in India or overseas.
In addition, they will also assist Anabond in developing formulation and process for the compounding of SPUR Sealants, he added.
