Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd today reported a marginal 5.6% rise in net profit to Rs 76.5 crore for the fourth quarter ending March 31, 2011.
The company had achieved a net profit of Rs 72.4 crore for the same period in 2009-10, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The income from operations of the company also went up by 1.5% to Rs 445 crore, over Rs 438 crore for the corresponding period in 2009-10, it said.
