Moser acquires 800 Hindi movie titlesBS Reporter / Mumbai October 8, 2007Moser Baer, Delhi-based optical media manufacturer, has acquired 800 leading Hindi movie titles, and plans to emerge as a dominant player in the home video market. Harish Dayani, CEO, Moser Baer Entertainment had told Business Standard earlier that Moser Baer is eyeing at least 15-25% of the Indian film releases this year. It is also eyeing Hollywood releases to capture at least 50% of market share of all the new releases. Currently, it has 7,000 film titles out of which 1,500 are Hindi titles and around 600 are Hollywood titles. While Moser Baer has released 74 Hindi titles so far, it has not yet released its Hollywood movie catalogue.The company has also bought the latest Hindi titles
