Optical storage manufacturer Moser Baer India today reported a net loss of Rs 131 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2011.
The company had registered a net profit of Rs 6.30 crore in the same period last year, Moser Baer India said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Net sales declined to Rs 458.95 crore during the January-March quarter from Rs 582.64 crore in the same year-ago period.
For the full year ended March 31, the company saw its net loss widen to Rs 406 crore, as against a net loss of Rs 36.26 crore in the previous year.
Shares of Moser Baer India were trading at Rs 42.40 on the BSE, up 1.07% from the previous close.
