Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals (MRPL) has posted a net profit of Rs 310.89 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 551.13 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2004. Accroding to a release issued to the BSE, total income has increased from Rs 4019.11 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 5280.83 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.The board of directors of MRPL has recommended dividend of 10% on the equity share capital and 0.01% on the 0.01% preference share capital for the year ended March 31, 2005.
