Mangalore Refineries and Petrochemicals Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 24.92 cr in the July to September quarter of 2008-09 , which is 92.66% lower than Rs 331.74 cr profit after tax, recorded in the same period last year.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange today, the company said its net sales in the period under consideration increased by 76.3% and stood at Rs 13,427.95 cr, as against Rs 7616.43 cr in the same period last year.
