MTNL would be the first service provider to start the 3-in-1 service although Bharti has been offering a similar service, Triple Play, on a pilot basis in some parts of the country.
R S P Sinha, chairman and managing director of MTNL, said while launching the service that MTNL would be offering 30 free-to-air channels at Rs 125 while adding other pay channels as per Trai guidelines.
MTNL has tied-up with Aksh Opticfibre and UT Starcom for the delivery of Internet Protocol Television (IPTV).
