Must leverage investment in digital technologies: N Chandrasekaran

Says TCS has managed to post sector leading growth rates and year 2014-15 so far has been an exceptional year

N Chandrasekaran, chief executive officer and managing director of Tata Consultancy Services, India's largest information- technology services provider said the company has managed to post sector leading growth rates and year 2014-15 so far has been an exceptional year. In an open letter addressed to employees, he said: In the first half of FY15, our revenues grew 17.3 per cent to $7.62 billion on a year-on-year basis and our net profits grew 19.1 per cent to $1.71 billion as we maintained our operating and net margins in our desired range. Our businesses continued scaling in size and market prominence. Several of our business units which have crossed the $1 billion mark in annual revenues are now sizable with revenues in multi-billions of dollars." Going ahead, he said that TCS has a historic opportunity to grow and lead the industry to greater heights.
