Nalco FY07 net up 52% on record salesBS Reporter / Bhubaneswar June 26, 2007Riding the boom in the metal market, National Aluminium Company (Nalco) has reported 52% jump in profit to Rs 2,381 crore in financial year 2006-07 (FY07), as against Rs 1,562 crore in FY06.The company also achieved highest ever metal sales of 3,56, 616 tonne in FY07. The previous best was 3, 53, 841 tonne in FY06. This also happened to be 3.4% more than target of 3,45,000 tonne fixed for the year.The company has also declared highest ever net sales of Rs 5,940 crore, an increase of 22% over the previous year.
