National Aluminium Company (NALCO) has posted a 83% spurt in net profit to Rs 306.07 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004 when compared with Rs 167.09 crore in the same period last fiscal. According to a release issued to the BSE, the total income (net of excise) has increased 49% from Rs 761.13 crore in Q3-03 to Rs 1130.83 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.
