Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys Ltd has informed that an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) will be held on June 30, 2006, to change the name of the company from 'Nava Bharat Ferro Alloys Ltd' to 'Nava Bharat Ventures Ltd', allot for cash, global depositary receipts or other securities so that the total amount raised through such securities does not exceed $100 million and issue of equity shares or other instruments to raise up to Rs 500 crore through qualified institutional placement mechanism.
