To undertake dairy development in the less developed areas of Maharashtra like Vidarbha and Marathwada, and to provide livelihood to small farmers, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) today signed MoUs with the state government in Nagpur.

Under the agreement NDDB would be focusing on increasing production by providing technical inputs which will include artificial insemination, advise on nutrition and ration balancing.

Further, NDDB's subsidiary NDDB Dairy Services would be organising milk producers into new generation cooperatives, that is, producer company.
