Negolice to expand multiplexes

Negolice India Ltd, after setting up multiplexes in Delhi and Ludhina, is all set to further expand its multiplexes under the m2k brand in the northern states including Punjab, Haryana and Himachal Pradesh.

The company, which have diversified into entertainment, real estate development, biotechnology and information technology in and around delhi was Currently running the m2k multiplexes in Rohini and Pritampura in Delhi and one in Ludhiana.

It is planning to develop similar multiplexes in other cities in the northern region and initially in the plan of its expansion, it would start with cities like Jalandhar,Patiala, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Mohali, Ambala and Shimla very soon, Manoj Kumar, General Manager of the company revealed adding that the company was planning similar multiplexes in the other big and medium class cities in the northern India.

After completion of setting up multiplexes in the northern India, the company has a plan to expand in overseas market also, he claimed adding that talks on the international expansion was already going with some renowned proposed partners.

"Our multiplexes will cost between Rs 40-50 crore with an area of one lakh square feet. We plan to develop around 5 to 6 such multiplexes initially in the northern region, which will have m2k cinemas also," he claimed.

He, however, did not disclose the exact amount of investments required to develop the m2k cinema hall. "there is no fixed amount for the development of a cinema as that will vary on the number of screens and other facilities", he added.

These cinemas would be of varied seating capacities, dolby digital surround sound, wall-to-wall screens and 35 degrees viewing. "our international quality sound standards will allow audience to experience sound by the sheer depth of acoustics. It will also have escalators for each access, ticket booking through phone and internet, centrally air-conditioned building and atrium, 100 pc power back-up, CCTV, PAS devices in the entire complex," he claimed.

The ergonomically designed seats will provide an ultimate movie watching experience. A shopping paradise will give consumers access to a variety of food, games, music and video stores, gym, and internet cafes.

Describing the movie watching in m2k multiplex a unique experience, he adds " all services are designed as per international standards and state-of-the-art delivery systems that transfer any bollywood/ Hollywood flick from a reel life to near real life drama".
