Addressing the third convocation ceremony of the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research(NIPER) here on Saturday, he spoke on issues related to higher education in medical science and pharmaceutical sector.
The general market dynamics in relation to higher education have not been favourable to areas like medical education, which require longer preparation time. Also, the cost per student for imparting medical education being high, access to medial education for people with limited financial resources has been limited, he added.
