Next Gen to bring out Yellow Pages in Chennai

Next Gen Publishing Limited (NGPL), a joint venture of Forbes group and HDFC Ltd, is planning to launch Forbes Yellow Pages in Chennai by the end of 2006, according to Hoshang S Billimoria, chief executive officer of NGPL.
 
The company already has its yellow pages in Mumbai, Ahmedabad and New Delhi in CD format and internet versions, supported by SMS facility.
 
On the sidelines of launching their computer magazine 'Computeractive', Billimoria told reporters that NGPL would like to strengthen its presence in the South by starting its yellow pages from Chennai since the city is viewed as an emerging IT hub in the country.
 
Priced at Rs 60, 'Computeractive' is positioned as a computing and technology lifestyle magazine.
 
"We plan to achieve a circulation of 50,000 copies.The net edition of the magazine will be launched soon and distribution would be done through India Book House," he added.
 
NGPL is a publisher of special interest magazines such as Smart Photography, Car India and Bike India.
