| According to Jaipuria, movies are almost always the next step for a kids' entertainment channel. |
| "Children love movies and the Nick movies would be on characters that the kids are already familiar with. The whole idea was to leverage on the Nick library," Jaipuria said." |
| Nick, at present, has close to 20 movies in its library. |
| Looking forward, the channel is also planning to acquire various animation movies from other production studios. |
| As for the movie schedules, on July 8, 'Jimmy Neutron -- Operation Rescue Jet Fusion' will be shown on Nick, followed by 'Fairly Odd Parents -- School's out-the musical' on July 15, 'Chalkzone- Big Blow Up' on July 22, and 'Catdog "� The Great Parent Mystery' on July 29. |
| Over the last 8 months, Nick has seen its channel share double from 6 to 12 per cent with many of its shows like SpongeBob SquarePants, Perman, Ninja Hattori, and The Munnabhai Show consistently featuring in the top-25 in the kid's genre. |
