The Harish Thawani-controlled Nimbus Communications has lost its four-year old arbitration against state-owned broadcaster Prasar Bharati in the Superhit Muqabla case.
M L Pendse, the sole arbitrator for the case, has directed Nimbus to clear Rs 6.28 crore dues to Prasar Bharati towards the principal.
Senior DD officials confirmed that they had won the arbitration against Nimbus in an award earlier this month.
Nimbus Communications, however, has said that it is planning to challenge the arbitrator
