Nipuna Services, the BPO subsidiary of Satyam, signed a deal along with a German animation company, 4K Animation GmbH, for various animation projects.According to a release issued by Satyam to the BSE today, the deal is worth euro 7 million (equivalent to $8 million). "This is one of the largest deals won by an Indian BPO company in the animation space," the release added.Nipuna will work jointly with 4K Animation on animation projects for a Hollywood film (an international action, adventure and fantasy motion picture directed by Paul Nicholas), 3D animation for a TV production and commercials, the release said."Nipuna has been investing continuously to build its niche competencies and best-in-class execution services. The 4K Animation engagement is a significant milestone in validation of our high-class delivery outsourcing strategy," Venkatesh Roddam, CEO of Nipuna, said.
